  • Assists practices with resolution of issues leveraging expertise of CSO and practice personnel.
  • Uses financial analysis to assist practice in identifying priority issues and developing a plan to address.
  • Communicates regularly with Lead Physicians and Executive Directors and responds to all requests in one business day.
  • Leads practices in continuous improvement.
  • Aligns continuous improvement efforts with key organizational goals.
  • Identifies potential risks for the practice and organization and informs CEO and Managing Partner
  • Works with the Quality Committee to provide feedback on clinical quality to the practices and help them implement best practices related to quality.
  • Oversees patient satisfaction surveys and presents results to the Care Councils.
  • Attends at least two meetings of each Care Council annually.
  • Ensures quality of work performed by direct reports.
  • Empowers direct reports and recognizes and rewards their contributions.

Requirements

Full-time opportunity, Monday through Friday position in our west side offices for an experienced oncology nurse.  Responsibilities include:  patient assessment, phone triage, IV access, chemotherapy administration, patient education, assisting MD with procedures, possible chemotherapy preparation, symptom management, obtaining prior authorizations, other duties to care for patients in the office setting.  Effective communication skills, computer skills, ability to work as part of a team, strong patient assessment skills, IV experience and the ability to problem solve is desired.  Current RN liscensure required. OCN certification and 2 years Oncology experience preferred.
